ANN ARBOR, MI — Four Michigan universities have been ranked among the top 150 engineering graduate schools in the United States, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Engineering Schools rankings list released Tuesday,

UC Merced’s School of Engineering has been named one of the best in the nation according to the 2026 U.S. News and World Report graduate school rankings. U.S. News and World Report ranked UC Merced’s program No. 99 among the country’s Best Engineering Schools. UC Merced ranked in the top 12 among California universities.

Continuing a decade-long run of rising in national rankings, all of Duke Engineering’s graduate programs ranked in the top 25 by U.S. News & World Report for the first time.

U.S. News compared graduate schools in Florida and around the country, producing individual rankings across many different disciplines. UCF’s Homeland/National Security and Emergency Management Graduate Program was named No. 1 in the country for the third year in a row.
