How to factor using the grouping method
Learn how to factor expressions of two variables by grouping. To factor an algebraic expression means to break it up into expressions that can be multiplied together to get the original expression.
To factor a trinomial in the form of ax squared plus bx plus c we are going to use the "ac" method. Notice that the “a” and the “c” are multiplied together and that's exactly what we are going to do.
