Big rig hits overpass, sending beam into 10 Freeway lanes, killing 1, authorities say

All westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at the 15 Freeway in Ontario were shut down after a big rig hit an overpass early Thursday morning, Jan. 15. All of the lanes aren’t expected to open until around 11 a.m., according to Officer Joe Garcia, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 3:20 a.m.
