NASA is sending names to the moon, here’s how to get on the list
NASA is inviting people around the world to send their names on a historic trip around the Moon. As part of the Artemis II mission, the first crewed lunar journey in over 50 years, the space agency will carry a digital memory card containing millions of submitted names aboard the Orion spacecraft.
Depending on the timing, NASA could launch a fresh crew to the space station while four other astronauts are flying around the moon.
Among other things, the James Webb Space Telescope is designed to get us closer to finding habitable worlds around faraway stars. From its perch a million miles from Earth, Webb’s huge gold-coated mirror collects more light than any other telescope put into space.
