A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for multiple Northeast Ohio counties starting Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Several parts of northeast Ohio are under a Snow Warning or Winter Weather Advisory as widespread snow continues across the area
Lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. for eight counties, including Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lake. Cleveland has issued parking bans from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
Avoid or delay travel: If a snow squall warning is issued for your vicinity, it’s advisable to postpone or refrain from motor travel until the squall has passed through your area. Highways and roads are particularly hazardous during snow squalls.
A snow squall warning was issued for parts of the Chicago area during the morning rush hour commute Wednesday as near white conditions and rapidly reducing visibility quickly hit drivers across the area.
