iRobot, the maker of the popular Roomba vacuum cleaner, filed for bankruptcy protection on Dec. 14, saying it would go private after being purchased by its Chinese manufacturer.

Fisker Group Inc., which just got rolling with its Ocean battery-electric crossover SUV in 2023, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 17, 2024, closed its business, and liquidated its assets.
