Update: When we last shared Christian's story in August 2021, she was hopeful about her treatment for colorectal cancer and, in June 2022, she started pursuing clinical trials. Unfortunately, cancerous nodules on her lungs and liver appeared and continued to grow, ruling out trial participation. Christian decided to enter hospice at the end of July, and sadly passed away August 9. “I worked hard to raise awareness of the importance of getting screened, and I still have hope that we can end this
