Copper production soars By Patricia Banda Zambia's copper production has recorded a significant increase. Mines and Minerals Development Minister PAUL KABUSWE says production has risen from 732,583 metric tons in 2023 to 820, 676 in 2024. The Minister says the increase which represents a 12 percent rise was driven by exceptional performance at Lumwana mine which doubled its production and resumption of Operations and production at KCM and Mopani.
