BARDEX have developed a shiplift solution that could be applicable to the plan to build floating dry docks for submarines at Faslane (Project EUSTON). The floating OmniDock uses a chain lift to raise the vessel out of the water. It can be used as a standalone dock or the vessel can be rolled off for maintenance ashore.
