Hardtailing the Harley Davidson Sportster frame after machining a few custom spacers on the lathe to dial in the neck alignment. Once everything was square on the jig, I locked it down and welded it in place. Surprisingly, for the amount of prep, this was the most straightforward part of the process. The factory seat post area on these frames is a mess clearly not designed with removal in mind. Next up: cleaning up the rear engine mount and fabricating axle plates to finish off the tail section.
