Kihon combinations are where discipline becomes instinct. Every step punch block and turn trained repeatedly until the body no longer thinks but simply reacts. This is where timing distance coordination and kime are forged. If your kihon is weak your kata and kumite will expose it. Master the basics and everything else becomes sharper stronger and more effective.
