11/22/25 I found a camera while hiking hidden valley trail in Joshua Tree National Park. The camera was beyond repair, but I managed to pull the footage off the SD card: It revealed HOURS of footage of two women from 2008. I’ve been posting in the hopes of finding them so I can return this camera, but something feels off. Yesterday I got an anonymous tip via email. Human slalom at Mount Rainier’s Paradise 😫 Coverage was too low to ski off piste without damaging vegetation, so we all had to share the trail. The trail was pretty empty in the beginning of the day so we were surprised to see so many people hiking on the way back. And while skiing is permitted on the trails in Mount Rainier NP, it can still get a little spooky for the non skiers you pass who might not have as much control in the snow or ice as you do.
