Type 45 destroyer HMS Duncan has been conducting boarding exercises off the coast of Plymouth. A Wildcat helicopter from Yeovilton-based 815 Naval Air Squadron has joined the Portsmouth ship as she heads to the Mediterranean. The exercise, which sees Duncan’s Royal Marines and Royal Navy boarding crews work with the Wildcat to board and search vessels, is in preparation for its work with French aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle, as part of their Carrier Strike Group deployment. 🔗 http://ow.
