Normally, in the weathering stage.. lining or pin wash,I like to use a variety of shades blended together to achieve harmony and realism. For this step, I used 4–5 shades of oil paint: dark brown, reddish brown, earthy gray, yellow tones, and buff. These were thinned with enamel thinner and applied in a way that allowed the colors to blend together, similar to watercolor techniques.
