The Elgin Marbles have become a symbol of the debate over where certain artifacts belong: foreign museums or their countries of origin. A group of artists and researchers is creating replicas of the sculptures to encourage the British Museum to return the originals to Greece. Photographer Richard Barnes takes us behind the scenes while on assignment in Carrara, Italy, where a robot is carving these replicas.
