EIN stands for Employer identification number. Every LLC and corporation has to get one. Once you get your LLC paperwork done, apply for an EIN from the IRS. It's free and takes about 15 mins. Please make sure the name on your EIN matches the name of your LLC EXACTLY Once you have those two things, you can use them to open up a business bank account.
